Jorge Munguía
He has a BA in architecture from Mexico City's Iberoamericana University and has completed his curatorial studies in St. Martin's College, London. He participated in the Documenta11 Educational Program in Germany. He worked as assistant curator on Mexico City: An exhibition about the exchange rate of bodies and values at P.S.1, New York and KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Berlin. He collaborated on projects for the Sao Paulo and Venice biennials and was part of the curatorial team at the Lisbon architecture and urbanism triennial's Mexico pavilion. He is also on the curatorial team for the next Vacíos Urbanos ("urban voids") exhibition at the Museo de la Ciudad de Mexico and the organizing team for Pechakucha D.F., a platform for the presentation of artists, designers, architects (...). Since 2003, he has been educational curator at the Museo Tamayo de Arte Contemporáneo in Mexico City.
