(Guatemala, 1980). He is curator of the Medellin Art Museum in Colombia. He was associate curator of the 10h Gwangju Biennale. He also serves as curator / head of visual arts at the Cultural Center of Spain in Guatemala, as an independent curator and as professor at the Francisco Marroquin University. He is co-director of Proyectos Ultravioleta, a multifaceted space dedicated to artistic experimentation, located in the historic center of Guatemala City, and has worked in institutions such as DOCUMENTA (13) (Kassel), the National Museum, of Art Reina Sofia (Madrid) and Contemporary Magazines (London), among others. At the moment he is interested in the formative an participatory processes in the art, the intersection between the arts and the sciences and the relation between art, culture and natural surroundings.
