The purpose of this book is to locate the conceptual and operative tools that come from the field of artistic experimentation towards teaching strategies for cooperative organization and productive collaboration, that where proposed in editorial work seminars in rural contexts in Mexico during the 80's. In 1981, Mexican artist Felipe Ehrenberg, together with Marcos Límenes, Santiago Rebolledo and Ernesto Molina (these last two members of the Suma group) developed a editorial work guide entitled El libro: cómo hacerlo y cómo usarlo usando el mimeógrafo, that was used to impart seminars in Rural Schools in Mexico, part of a pilot program of the National Education Ministry. These workshops created a productive organization model that when put in practice, would facilitate and promote the encounter and discussion between people with limited access to communication tools, enabling them to produce and circulate bulletins, books and magazines.
