The project develops in The Workshop, space dedicated to exhibition and discussion around contemporary art in the colonia (neighborhood) Moderna in Monterrey, Nuevo León.

As neighbors of la Moderna and co-founders of The Workshop, they develop along with the artists, curators and facilitators, a cultural agenda focus on having projects that help in the reconstructions of the social structure of the community they belong, and support the scenery of the Monterrey’s art. Beyond wanting to place themselves abruptly in the territory, Líneas Convergentes touches down in a series of projects and workshops with social awareness engaged with the contribution to the culture of the colonia; however, it has been ignored for a long time because of their social context.
