Rafael Ortega
He studied Film at the Instituto Mexicano de Cine y Teatro and the Centro Universitario de Estudios Cinematográficos in Mexico. He has worked as assistant camera in TV programs, films, short film and advertising such as Crons, Cabeza de vaca, amongst others. He also worked as cinematographer and film photographer in films and documentaries such ad Bajo California el límite del tiempo, Tetlapayac, Corazones rotos y Carambola. He has collaborated in important artist projects along with Abraham Cruzvillegas, Raúl Ortega, Melanie Smith, Daniel Guzmán, Francis Alÿs, Damián Ortega, Thomas Glassford, Claudia Fernández, Silvia Gruner and Joao Panalva. He participated in the 8a Bienal de Mercosur in Porto Alegre. Some of his work include Fleeting Stories (Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial de Gijón, 2011) "Modelos para amar" (MUSAC, Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Castilla y León, 2010).
