(Riyadh, Saudi Arabia,1986) Native of Saudi Arabia, Mehreen Murtaza studied art at Beaconhouse National University, Lahore, Pakistan. Through photography, photomontage, video, installation and digital art, Murtaza is interested in technology and the mixture between the mechanical and the natural, as well as by social and religious aspects, the popular Sufi culture, the iconography and the science fiction.
