Manuela Moscoso

(Ecuador), is an independent curator. Her curatorial practice is focused on generating spaces for research, production and exhibition. Whether it is organizing exhibitions, starting an independent space, an online platform or a residency program, she understand collaboration as an integral part of her practice. Together with Sarah Demeuse, she is part of Rivet, a curatorial office that investigates art and object philosophies. Her research has materialized in exhibitions and publications focused on generic notions and displacement, resonance and repetition. Manuela has a Master's Degree in Curatorial Studies from the Center for Curatorial Studies at Bard College and a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from the Central Saint Martins School of Art and Design, London. She was Adjunct Curator of the Cuenca XII Biennial (2014).
