He studied at Centro de la Imagen (Ministry of Culture), Teratoma, A.C., and Fundación JUMEX. He studied theoretical and historical photography at the Centro de la Imagen and the National School of Anthropology and History (INAH). Since 2005, he has curated exhibitions of Mexican contemporary art for institutions such as Manuel Álvarez Bravo Photographic Center (Oaxaca), City Museum and Libertad Gallery (Querétaro), Casa del Lago and Chopo University Museum (UNAM), Clavijero Michoacán Cultural Center, Tijuana Cultural Center, House of the 1st Printing Press of America (UAM), Ex Teresa Arte Actual, the José María Velasco Gallery and the ENPEG "La Esmeralda", among others.
