Architect. Co-founder of Asymtote, an art and design studio focused on architecture. Rashid is a well known innovator in architecture technology, urbanism, art and design he received the Frederick Kiesler Prize for Architecture and the Arts. He represented the US at the VII Architecture Biennial di Venezia and his studio, Asymptote, was selected to design the exhibition for the IX Architecture Biennial. He has been professor in Southern California Institute of Architecture in Los Angeles, Harvard University Graduate School of Design, the Berlage Institute in Amsterdam. He was part of the Luis Barragan professorship (2004) in Monterrey, Mexico
