(Mexico City, 1930) Doctor in Education from Harvard University. He has dedicated his research to the promotion of new scholastic models aiming to improve the Mexican education system; he has also developed new education methodologies in different communities around Mexico. In 2009 he was holder of the project "Learning Communities in Telesecundarias" in Durango, Mexico.
