Antoni Muntadas

(born in 1942 in Barcelona) Is multidisciplinary installation and a media artist.
He lives in New York since 1971. He has been working as a professor at the University of San Diego, School of Fine Arts in Bordeaux and Grenoble, National School of Fine Arts in Paris, the Art Institute of San Francisco, and the University of São Paulo, among others. He has also collaborated with the Visual Studies Workshop in Rochester (USA), Banff Center in Canada, Arteleku in San Sebastián, Le Studio National des Arts Contemporains Le Fresnoy (Lille Metropol), and the University of Western Sydney.
In 2005 he received the National Prize of Plastic Arts of Spain . He also has received other awards including Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation, National Endowment for the Arts , New York State Council on the Arts, Laser d' Or in Locarno (Switzerland ), the Arts Award plastic awarded by the Generalitat of Catalonia.
