(Mexico City, 1936). Studies Psychology at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Mexico (UNAM), specializing at the Institute of Group Psychoanalysis and holds a PhD in Political Philosophy. He is General Coordinator of the Unidad Central de Estudios para el Desarrollo (Central Unit for Development Studies) of the Universidad del Estado de Morelos (UAEM); co-researcher of the project "Investigating Alternate e-Health Solutions for Mexico" a collaboration between the Universidad Anáhuac, the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Morels, the University of Calgary and Dalhousie  University, Canada.
