Perder el miedo: CADA (1981); ANCIEZ / EZLN (1992); GAC (2001)
Perder el miedo (To lose the fear) is a publication by FIEBRE Ediciones, an independent editorial project dedicated to investigate and publish the diverse creative practices that happened in Latin America in the 80's. This particular publication is made up of three booklets, each one documenting a separate historical action, with a decade between them. Linking protest, theatrics and performance, these actions created political scenarios enriched though the perspective of art. The first booklet will be focused on the action by CADA (Colectivo Acciones de Arte) on the 12th of July, 1981, entitled Ay Sudamérica in the city of Santiago, in Chile. The second booklet will be dedicated to the protest that sparks the future apparition of the EZLN, realized by the ANCIEZ (Alianza Nacional Campesina Independiente Emiliano Zapata), the 12th of October in 1992, in San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas. The third booklet will be centered on GAC (Grupo de Arte Callejero) of Argentina, specifically to their project Aquí viven genocidas (2001).
