Juárez México 68

In 2018 will be the 50th anniversary of the 1968 Mexico Olympic Games. Faced with this significant date, the authors propose to draw a direct line between the economic, political, social and cultural turbulence of 1968 and contemporary Mexico. As a book/exhibition, the publication gathers documentation of a series of artistic interventions that revisit and revive the urban and cultural infrastructure that remains as a remnant of that appointment half a century ago.
