Islario [ water . earth . territories]: insertion and effectiveness in the artistic field as a response of the global environmental crisis

The project consists of an ensemble of essays that pretend an approach to the ways in which art and cultural production are confronting the ecological balance and the environmental crisis generated the current economic system.

Different authors will analyze the strategies employed by artist whose practice reflects over those topics. With this, it is intended to draw a map of possible creative positions, it’s grade of effectiveness and insertion and an orientation towards extension and repercussion of these type of practices in the national and international artistic context.
