Entre lo instituyente y lo instituido. Independent Art Spaces in Monterrey.

The editorial investigation project is about the general vision of how the independent spaces of art articulated and managed in the periphery of the official institutions in Nuevo León, Mexico and how the agents with an important influence in the artistic field are detonators of emergent art in the communities they work and live in.

The project seeks to communicate to the northern society of the country about the phenomenon of independent art spaces and its conceptual, operative and technical characteristics and how its most significant contributions can fight and modify the hegemonic and dominant train of thought.
